Cartridge Heaters

TEN 24 manufactures a range of high-quality cartridge heaters, also known as finger or single-ended heating elements TENP. These industrial heaters are commonly used to heat metal molds and are mounted in drilled holes on equipment parts.

The cylindrical shape of cartridge heaters must ideally match the shape and size of the hole in which they will be installed. They are commonly used in industry for heating casting and molds, but can also be used for heating units and parts of machine tools, injectors, and in molding and packaging equipment.

The body of the cartridge heating element is made of stainless heat-resistant steel, with a sealed end and wires at the other end for connection to the network. The heating element is a coil of wire with high resistance wound on a ceramic block.

TEN 24 offers custom-made cartridge heaters with specifications including dimensions, diameter, power, and connectivity options. Fiberglass braided wire is the standard termination option, but terminations for heat-resistant wires can also be provided. Cartridge heaters with flange or screw thread are also available.

For cartridge heating elements with a diameter greater than 1.6 cm, a thermocouple can be embedded to control the heating temperature. Additionally, L-shaped or expanding cartridge heaters are available for closer contact with the mold.

TEN 24 provides fast and reliable delivery of cartridge heaters to any locality in Europe. Vacuum packaging ensures that the heaters remain in perfect condition during transportation and storage in a warehouse.

Overall, TEN 24's cartridge heaters are designed for optimal performance and durability, making them an ideal choice for industrial heating applications.
